SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to diagnose degenerative and traumatic lesions of the internal structures of the knee joint (cruciate ligament, meniscus) in children and adults with the help of magnetic resonance imaging. In addition, a block of 21 slices with a thickness of 4 mm is built in the middle of the transversal MR tomographic image in the Scout mode with a partial image of the cruciate ligaments with an inter-slice interval of 0.4 mm, weighted by the proton density with the algorithm of fat suppression, the direction of the slices is a skew-sagittal external outline of the femoral lateral condyle, parallel to the plane of the cruciate ligaments, with the plane of the menisci turning at an angle. In this way, complete images of cruciate ligaments and menisci are obtained in all anatomical regions.
EFFECT: method ensures the accuracy of diagnosis of all intra-articular structures in MP-tomography without increasing the study time.
