FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting device control. Solid-state lighting module comprises light source and resistor circuit, wherein output resistance of resistor circuit is intended to transmit information on required power to connected driver to be supplied to solid-state light source. To receive configuration information from external configuration device, management interface is provided; and control circuit configures resistor circuit to thereby set output resistance in response to received configuration information. This approach involves embedding configuration function in lighting module, not driver. Output impedance can be determined with existing driver architectures without change, while at the same time it is possible for user to customize for their needs individual lighting modules.
EFFECT: technical result is ability to provide flexible driver configuration in such a way, that can be implemented with minimal disruption of applied LED infrastructure, for example, without affecting existing portfolio / driver installation.
