FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for the bearings attachment and shaft vibrations adjusting both in high-speed devices, for example turbines, and in low-speed ones, for example, incubators. In the device wall (1), the supports are cut radially to the shaft (2) direction, forming elastic consoles (3), which free ends form a hole for the bearing. At that, the cuts themselves form the cavities (4) in which the heaters (7) are installed and which are filled with gas (5), liquid or other material exerting pressure to the consoles (3) under effect of the heaters (7) temperature controlled by the oscillations sensors (6) mounted on the same support. Shaft (2) oscillations control method is implemented by creation in the support walls (1) around the shaft (2), with increase in the pressure in the cavities, of the increased stiffness moving zones, which, according to the oscillation sensors (6) readings, are set in the oscillations greatest amplitude direction.
EFFECT: creation of the rotating shaft fastening device and method, which allows to regulate its oscillations by creation of the different rigidity zones in the support around this shaft.
