FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, to devices for heat-air melioration of a root layer of fields. A device for accumulation of solar heat and cold in the soil under the ground for subsequent supply to a root zone during a vegetation period of plants includes a mole drainage on the field, across which a deep trench is dug. In the trench, there is a system of multilevel horizontal sealed air ducts equipped, at one end, with a device for suction of hot air from a chamber of solar air heating and a valve-adjuster of an incoming air temperature and, at the other end, with a device for air extraction from the system of horizontal sealed air ducts. There is also a pump for forced injection of cold air from the ground surface. Horizontal sealed air ducts, except an upper ground-heating air duct located under the mole drainage, are installed inside heat accumulators including a layer of bulk heat-intensive material. Part of air ducts is used for cold accumulation. The method consists in that solar heat or cold is transmitted to the air, which is transported via air ducts to deep soil layers under the ground or to horizontal sealed air ducts, from which heat or cold is transmitted to the ground layer via the ground-heating air duct and the mole drainage, as well as via the system of horizontal air ducts or through the soil.
EFFECT: provision of a possibility of control of plant development, using a ground temperature.
