FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: muffler is designed to reduce the internal combustion engines exhaust gases noise level, in particular for pulsed combustion chambers with aerodynamic valve. Muffler contains reactive chamber, which is formed by shell 3, flat solid bottom 1 and outer cover 12, and has aerodynamic valve 2, also has active chamber 6, which is formed by lower perforated plate 4 and upper perforated plate 7, which hold the fluidized bed 5, which is made in the form of ceramics dispersed granules, diametrically exceeding the plates perforation degree, in order to increase the exhaust noise attenuation, and cover is made by the two-cartridge scheme consisting of the flat shaped outer side 12 and convex in the form of a truncated cone from the inner side 8, at that, the cover outer side is made with annular gaps 9 and 11, and furthermore is provided with a reflective metal disc 10 with inlet-outlet branch pipe 13.

EFFECT: increase in the muffler efficiency by increasing its noise-insulating ability due to simplification of design while simultaneous reduction of the back pressure in the muffler.
