FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: silencer is intended for reduction of noise level of machines and engines. Silencer comprises a housing consisting of a cylindrical shell, rigidly connected with end circular plates with inlet and outlet pipes, where in housing, perpendicular to direction of aerodynamic flow, there are reactive chambers, formed by circular discs with holes, wherein reactive chambers are connected with inlet pipe to one of end of circular plates, axially symmetrical to housing are attached resonance silencer insert and outlet pipe, and to other end circular plate axisymmetrical to housing is attached an inlet pipe, wherein resonance silencer insert is made in form of a cylindrical sleeve attached coaxial to housing circular end plate, and consists of a sound-absorbing chambers and resonance chamber, formed by rigid partitions, where in resonance chamber there are at least two resonance inserts, fixed on sleeve, perpendicular to its axis, and sound-absorbing chamber is formed by circular end plate with outlet pipe, rigid partition and part of cylindrical sleeve of resonance insert, which is lined with sound absorbing material, in sound-absorbing chamber there are least three exhaust bushings, fixed on sleeve, perpendicular to its axis, wherein surfaces of partitions facing away from resonance chamber, are lined with sound-absorbing circular elements, and sound-absorbing circular elements are installed coaxially to cylindrical housing on its inner side, wherein part of circular end plate of sound absorbing chamber is lined with sound absorbing material.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of noise suppression.
