FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: suppressor includes a housing, consisting of a cylinder shell, rigidly connected to the end circular plates with inlet and outlet nozzles. The reactive chambers, formed by the circular discs with holes, are mounted perpendicularly to the direction of aerodynamic flow motion in the housing. The reactive chambers are connected with the inlet nozzle, the resonance suppressor insert and the outlet nozzle is attched to one of the end circular plates axially-symmetrically to the housing, and the inlet nozzle with supressor reactive portion is attached to the other one axially-symmetrically to the housing. The reactive part of the suppressor is installed perpendicular to the aerodynamic flow drirection and consists of at least three reactive chambers formed with circular disks with holes coaxial with the housing and inlet pipe, and the suppressor resonant insert is made in the form of a cylindrical sleeve attached coaxially to the housing to the end plate and consists of sound-absorbing chamber and resonance chamber, formed with rigid partitions. There are at least two resonant inserts located in the resonance chamber, and attached to the sleeve perpendicular to its axis, sound-absorbing chamber is formed with circular end plate with the outlet and a rigid wall part of resonant cylindrical sleeve insert, which is lined with sound-absorbing material. Inside the sound-absorption chamber there are at least three exhaust bushings attached on the sleeve perpendicular to its axis.

EFFECT: noise suppression efficiency improvement.
