SUBSTANCE: axle-box with a cylindrical roller and the X-section separator comprises a housing, a presser cover, a mounting washer and thrust washers from the end faces of the outer bearing ring. In the thrust washers from the inner bearing rings, radial annular grooves are provided with conical end faces. In the grooves of the thrust washers there are U-shaped collar seals with slots in the collars of the cuffs and bracelet springs, while the landing belt of each cuff is urged by a bracelet spring to the inner ring of the bearing, and the collars of the cuffs interact with the conical surfaces of the grooves in the thrust washers.

EFFECT: when the axle-box is used, the compliance of the landing belts and collars of the cuffs ensures the sealing of the bearing cavity with the use of a liquid lubricant, which increases the life of the axle unit and helps reduce friction losses.
