FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of a nitric acid actinoid-containing solution. Method comprises purification of the initial nitric acid actinoid-containing solution from silver by reduction in a solution of silver to the metal as a precipitate with a carbonic acid dihydrazide, separation of the resulting precipitate from the clarified solution, quantitative decomposition of the reducing agent in the clarified solution, and sorption isolation of the actinoids from the clarified solution. Reduction of silver from the solution by carbonic acid dihydrazide is carried out at a nitric acid concentration of 0.4–0.7 mol/l and a temperature of 81–92 °C, the clarified solution is adjusted with nitric acid to a concentration of 6–8 mol/l and heated to a temperature of 93–98 °C.
EFFECT: solution is purified from silver to a concentration of less than 100 mcg/l.
