FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the solution neutralisation, silver recovery, silver separating and dissolving in the nitric acid. The silver-containing solution neutralisation is carried out with the non-salt neutralizing agent up to pH 0.8-1.0, the complexing agent is added, containing one or more amino group and one or more carboxyl group, and pH of 1.0-2.5 is provided, carbohydrazide is added as the recovering agent. The desilverization into sedimented solid phase forms is carried out either in the solution volume by raising the temperature of the reaction medium, or on the developed surface of the collector solid phase, while passing the silver containing solution with carbohydrazide through the checker granular bed at the temperature of 50-80°C.
EFFECT: simplification of the silver quantitative separation process from solutions, obtaining the compact solid-phase forms of silver, high selectivity of the process with respect to the actinides contained in the solution, obtaining concentrated solutions of regenerated silver.
