INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR NEUTRALIZING OXYGEN DISSOLVED INTO WASTE WATER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C02F1/20 C02F1/70 C02F5/08 B01D19/00 C23F11/08

Abstract RU 2657295 C2

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in the field of oil and gas production, in the treatment of liquid waste to neutralize dissolved oxygen for use in a reservoir pressure maintenance system. Apparatus comprises container (2) containing sodium sulfite, container (3) containing a calcium sulfate scaling inhibitor, container (4) containing water, container (5) for solution preparation, stirring device (6), means (7) for dispensing sodium sulfite and means (8) for dosing the scaling inhibitor into container (5), means (9) for supplying water to container (5), solution dispensing vessel (10) and means (11) for supplying the prepared solution to container (10), sewage tank (12) for collecting and neutralizing wastewater, comprising means for mixing (13), means (14) supplying the solution from container (10) to sewer (12), means (15) for supplying treated waste water to a reservoir pressure maintenance system, a piping connecting the said containers, sensor (16) for the concentration of calcium ions in the waste water entering vessel (12), sensor (17) measuring the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the waste water entering vessel (12), control unit (18) for receiving signals from sensors (16) and (17) and controlling the supply of the scaling inhibitor, feeding the sodium sulphite to vessel (5), and feeding the prepared solution into vessel (12). Method for neutralizing oxygen is carried out by means of said apparatus.

EFFECT: reduced corrosion rate and increased reliability of protection of oilfield equipment, which increases the accident-free service life of the equipment and is achieved through the on-line monitoring of parameters and the supply of reagents to wastewater.
