SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for measuring dose by means of a radiation detector, in particular, an X-ray or gamma-ray detector. Method for measuring absorbed dose consists in selecting an energy range and type of dose H, using the given type of radiation detector, setting the spectra measured by the detector for different radiation of a given type, whose energies are in the selected energy range and corresponding doses are known, and based on these spectra establishing weight function that determines the correspondence between the average dose increment and the average energy absorbed by the detector.

EFFECT: measurement of the absorbed dose in real time over a wide range of incident radiation energies.
