FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical, petrochemical and other industries where the absorption, rectification, purification of gases, components mixing and other technological processes mass-exchange processes are used. Gas-liquid mixture pulsations generation method is implemented by the oscillations imposing by moving the valve relative to the tray under the influence of gas-liquid mixture pressure supplied to the gap between the valve and the tray through the tray bypass opening. Gas-liquid mixture pulsation is created by changing the gap between the valve and the tray under the reduced pressure influence generated in the first, then in the second and next in the following annular zones located downstream the tray bypass opening, with the flow in the gap between the valve and the tray transfer into the space behind the valve. Method implementation device comprises valve mounted with a gap on the tray with bypass opening. Valve is fixed at several points distant from the tray bypass opening, allowing free flow transfer in the gap into the space behind the valve.

EFFECT: improvement of the gas-liquid mixture preparation quality and mass-transfer processes efficiency of absorption, rectification, purification of gases, mixing of components and other technological processes by generation of pulsations of the gas-liquid mixture contacting phases in the mass-exchange processes.
