SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B01D19/00 

FIELD: separation of gas-and-liquid mixtures, formation water in particular into oil, gas water and mechanical admixtures.

SUBSTANCE: proposed separator has housing with tangential branch pipe for inlet of gas-and-liquid mixture and branch pipes for outlet of gas, oil, water and mechanical admixtures; housing is provided with taper plates. Cylindrical partition provided with bypass ports for oil and gas is mounted coaxially relative to housing. Mounted in lower part of cylindrical partition is plug with hole for withdrawal of oil from passage. Hole available in cylindrical partition below plug are used for communication of separator cavity with water discharge branch pipe. Separator is provided with oil level control unit. Taper plates are mounted with larger bases upward and are located between bypass ports and plug. External part of plates is hydrophobic. Lower parts of plates have slots.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation.
