SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical switches. Device for reservation in fiber-optical transmission systems comprises: supply and discharge optical fibers and an optical switch module, also the device comprises a system of surface control electrodes configured to be connected to an electrical signal supply system from the controller. As an optical switch module, the device comprises a channel waveguides system made in a substrate or on a substrate. Channel waveguides system includes a main and a backup waveguide, two parallel-coupled Mach-Zehnder interferometers with separate inputs and a common output, wherein the input of one of them is connected to the main waveguide, the input of the second one - to the backup waveguide, and the outputs of the waveguides from these interferometers are connected to the common output, device also comprises two additional channel waveguides optically connected to the main and backup waveguides. Each of the additional channel waveguides is configured to divert onto it by the control electrodes from 1 to 5% of the optical power from the respective main or backup waveguide.

EFFECT: technical result is increased speed and stable operation at vibration conditions.
