SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication technology; it can be used in multichannel systems for transmitting analogue signals via fiber-optic communication lines (hereinafter – FOCL). The device for transmitting an analogue signal contains a laser module, an optical output of which is connected through input single-mode fiber to an optical input of an electrooptical intensity modulator according to the scheme of the Mach-Zander (hereinafter – MZM) interferometer, a controller connected to electrodes of MZM shift, a source of high-frequency information electrical signal connected to an electrical signal input of MZM.

EFFECT: increase in the quality of received signal due to limiting the illumination time of the optical radiation receiver during continuous adjustment and control of the position of MZM operation point.
