FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the technology of separation by air flows of bulk materials into its differing in density, size and aerodynamic properties of the fraction and can be used in various branches of economic activity, for example, in agriculture when cleaning seeds from weeds. Method of pneumatic separation of loose material, using the impact of counter-directed airflow on falling particles of a bulk raw material with different density, dimensions and aerodynamic properties. Falling of the particles of the starting material is carried out in the downstream downstream airflow in the air-separation channel to its reaction zone, which is formed by combining the downward airflow with the counter-rising flow. In the reaction zone, under the influence of the ascending flow, insufficient aerodynamic resistance is created to further fall of the heavier particles and at the same time created by the aerodynamic resistance stop the falling of the lighter particles in the reaction zone. From the counterflows, a total total flow is created, and the lighter particles that are stopped are removed from the pneumatic separating channel. Method is carried out by means of a device for pneumatic separation of bulk material comprising a vertically oriented pneumatic separating channel with three windows – an upper, lower and middle transverse window with a nozzle, an exhaust fan with a sedimentation chamber, a feed hopper communicating with the pneumatic separating channel, with a movable outlet damper and installed under the open lower window of the air separation channel, the hopper-receiver for collection of purified material. Hopper with a movable outlet flap is installed on the upper window of the pneumatic separating channel, and the exhaust fan through the sedimentation chamber and the connection is connected to the middle transverse window of the channel.
EFFECT: increase the separation of undesirable impurities from the material to be separated.
