FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for accelerating solids. In the method of magneto-inductive acceleration of a projectile-solenoid, the energy for a shot of the accelerator is distributed in a battery of accelerating superconducting solenoids located along the accelerator coaxially to the trunk. Superconducting jumper key of each accelerating superconducting solenoid is closed after it is charged from an external power source. Immediately at the moment of the shot, a current is created in the projectile-solenoid by closing the charging coil of the inductor, the projectile-solenoid is attracted to the accelerating superconducting solenoid, at the moment of passage of the projectile-solenoid through the accelerating superconducting solenoid, the current in the accelerating solenoid drops to zero. After passing through the projectile-solenoid accelerating superconducting solenoid in the accelerating superconducting solenoid, the direction of the current from the external current source changes, and the projectile-solenoid repels from the accelerating superconducting solenoid. Process is repeated on all the battery solenoids.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increased speed of the projectile and simplified process of its acceleration.
