FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for damping vibrations of elastic elements in the design of spacecrafts. Vibration damper comprises a hollow cylindrical body 1 of non-magnetic material. Thread is made along the entire inner surface of the body. Blank cover 2 is screwed from one end of the body 1. Cover 3 with a central hole is screwed into the body cavity 1. Covers 2 and 3 form in the body 1 a cavity in which a permanent magnet 4 is arranged having the shape of a cylinder and wraparound its magnetic working medium 5. From the other end of the body 1 is mounted a flange 6 with peripherally formed fastener holes and a central hole through which an elastic rod 7 is passed. Rod 7, passing through a hole in the cover 3, is fixedly attached to a magnet 4. Loose end of the rod 7 is fixed from the outside of the flange 6 with the possibility of adjusting the length of the rod 7 by a clamping unit 8, for example a collet.

EFFECT: it is possible to adjust the rational frequencies of the dynamic damper operation and the characteristics of the damper after its manufacture.
