METHOD FOR EVALUATING PROBABILITY OF OUTCOMES OF A NON-ERYTHEMATOUS FORM OF IXODID TICK-BORNE BORRELIOSIS AND A COMBINED COURSE OF BORRELIOSIS-ENCEPHALITIS INFECTION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N33/48 G01N33/49 G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2657830 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is a method for evaluating probability of outcomes of a non-erythematous form of ixodid tick-borne borreliosis and a combined course of borreliosis-encephalitis infection, comprising determining the laboratory indicators of patient: in the acute period of the disease in the period of 10–14 days from the disease onset – IgM and IgG, in the period of convalescence in the period 21–25 days from the disease onset – IL-8; characterized by the fact that the laboratory indicators of the patient are estimated in scores: IgM at a value >2.38 g/l – 7 scores, IgG at a value of <4.79 g/l – 32 scores, IL-8 at a value >84.96 pg/l – 12 scores; other values are estimated as 0 scores; total score is counted; if the total score >16, the probability of developing a chronic course of infectious diseases is equal to 77.24±0.14 %; if the total score ≤16, the probability of convalescence is equal to 85.51±0.04 %.

EFFECT: invention provides an opportunity to estimate the probability of disease outcomes: convalescence or chronization, in patients with a non-erythematous form of ixodic tick-borne borreliosis and in patients with combined course of borreliosis-encephalitis infection.
