FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry, in particular to harvesting trees using a helicopter. When approaching a tree, a helicopter grabs the top. Cutting device (5) is guided to the tree trunk by an operator. Helicopter is moved so that the axis of the screw is along the axis of the tree. Tree is cut down and wood is delivered by the helicopter to a processing mobile complex, where wood is completely processed. Finished products are transported to a consumer by ground transport.
EFFECT: environmental friendliness of logging is increased.
