SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of cast iron. Invention can be used in machine building. Cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.0–3.5; silicon 1.5–2.0; manganese 0.6–0.8; aluminium 0.15–0.25; vanadium 0.3–0.35; molybdenum 0.1–0.15; copper 1.0–1.4; phosphorus 0.06–0.08; palladium 0.006–0.01; rest is iron.
EFFECT: cast iron has high strength.
