Clue of invention is that an ultrasonic system for nondestructive testing comprises at least one ultrasonic transducer with air communication, a device configured to emit primary ultrasonic waves interfering with each other and comprising at least two fundamental frequency components, that are multiples of one another and radiated simultaneously in the closed phase, the interference of the primary ultrasonic waves generating a plurality of frequency harmonics in the air, at least one receiver, device is adapted to receive ultrasonic waves emitted from the test object.
EFFECT: technical result is: providing the possibility of a significant reduction in losses due to attenuation in the air and due to inconsistencies in the acoustic resistance between air and the surface of the object under test.
