FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular to combined methods for generating electricity and synthetic liquid fuels in gas turbine and combined cycle gas turbine units. Such method involves producing nitrogen-fused synthesis gas by partial oxidation of natural gas in a compressed air stream behind the high-pressure compressor of a combined cycle gas turbine unit, supply of this synthesis gas to a single-pass catalytic methanol synthesis reactor, followed by post-combustion of the depleted gas after the catalytic reactor in the combustion chamber of a gas turbine unit.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the efficiency of the method for producing electricity and synthetic liquid fuels in gas turbine and combined cycle gas turbine units by reducing the electrical load during night-cycles of power consumption, use of excess energy for the sequestering of carbon dioxide, extracted from the exhaust flue gases, with its transformation into a synthesis gas with a high content of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, and feeding it to a catalytic reactor to accelerate the production of methanol during night-cycles of power consumption.
