SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used in the construction of screw propellers of an adjustable pitch. Controllable pitch propeller is mounted on the propeller shaft and includes a hub with fixed blades on it, ensuring their rotation relative to the hub. Blades are made composite and consist of at least two parts. Each part of the blade has an independent possibility of turning.
EFFECT: improved propulsive characteristics of the controllable pitch propeller and its increased efficiency is achieved.
