SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cutting table (100) for cutting a fiber preform obtained by a three-dimensional weave and having two sections, which are connected together by at least one zone without mutual connection and which represent contours of various shapes, the cutting table comprising: table top (104) provided with recess (108) for receiving a flat one of the workpiece portions to be cut; sacrificial plates (110) for interposing between parts of the workpiece for cutting and for attaching to the table top; at least one cutting pattern (114) adapted to be pressed against a portion of the fiber preform that is not located in the recess; and means (118) for applying the pressing pressure to the cutting pattern. Invention also relates to a method of cutting a fiber preform by means of such a cutting table.
EFFECT: cutting table is proposed.
