SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textiles having a low density polyurethane foam warp and a method for production thereof. Textiles laminated with a polyurethane backing are produced by applying a layer of a polyurethane foam forming mixture to a surface of textiles. Mixture contains water and a physical blowing agent. Layer is foamed due to the action of water and the physical blowing agent and cured to form an attached backing having a density of 176 g/l or less.
EFFECT: invention provides an easily controlled method by which the attached low density polyurethane backing can be applied to a carpet or other textile without a protective layer.
