SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices with application of sound and heat insulation. Disclosed is a device comprising at least one heat- and sound-insulated element carrying an insulation structure on at least one of its surfaces, where the insulation structure contains at least one layer of viscoelastic polyurethane foam, having bulk density of 50–500 kg/m3, an elasticity value of at least 20 % (ASTM 3574), a recovery time of at least 3 s (ASTM D3574 Test M). Said viscoelastic polyurethane foam is obtained by reacting aromatic polyisocyanate with a mixture of isocyanate-active materials containing from 20 wt. % of at least one polyol with 2–4 hydroxyl groups in molecule (molecular weight from 750, hydroxyl equivalent mass of 225–450) and water (at least 0.2 part per 100 weight parts of mixture). Disclosed also is a method of isolating said device.
EFFECT: providing simultaneously effective heat- and sound insulation.
