FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for transmitting signals from a well to a surface and can be used for signal transmission via an acoustic communication channel. In particular, there is provided a drill string comprising: a plurality of drill pipe sections; and a plurality of drill pipe connecting sections, each of which is configured to couple adjacent drill pipe sections from the plurality of drill pipe sections. In this case, the drill pipe sections and the joint sections of the drill pipes are matched to the acoustic impedance in the selected frequency band and are arranged in a non-periodic sequence of lengths in the drill string.
EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of the acoustic signal loss in the well.
