FIELD: machine building; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and construction structures and can be used as storm, industrial and domestic sewage pipes, drainage and water intake pipes and channels and tunnels of hydraulic structures. Polyhedral shaped composite pipe consists of straight transversal elements of the channel and (or) box section, which are connected by their ends and (or) through the corner elements in the form of polygonal figures, and lateral sides are connected in a polyhedral figured composite pipe. To increase the longitudinal strength of the pipe, straight longitudinal members of the round and / or tubular section can be inserted through and connected to the lateral sides of the elements. Outside and (or) from within a polyhedral shaped composite pipe, its faces can be connected to straight longitudinal elements of the channel and / or box, and (or) corner and/or flat sections.
EFFECT: polyhedral shaped composite pipe has high strength, low mass, corrosion resistance and relatively low cost, with the possibility of assembling the pipe at the site of production.
