FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial and civil construction. Polyhedral composite tube (options) of large diameter and high strength is designed for the construction of pipelines, culverts, collectors, wells, chambers, tanks. Polyhedral composite tube is assembled from transverse elements (1) cut from straight composite profiles of channel or box section, made by pultrusion, extrusion or pressing. Transverse elements (1) are connected at their ends and (or) through the corner elements into the shape of a regular convex polygon, and laterally connected into a polyhedral composite pipe. This pipe can have from three to any desired number of faces. To increase the longitudinal strength and ring stiffness, the polyhedral composite pipe can be supplemented by longitudinal elements from straight composite profiles of different sections (options).
EFFECT: polyhedral composite pipe has high strength with minimum mass and high corrosion resistance.
