FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Biomedical electrode pad for electrically contacting a biological object comprises an electrode with an electrode terminal, a contact member, an electrically insulating retainer mesh, a backing layer. Contact member is located on the electrode terminal. Electrode terminal is adapted to be brought into electrical contact with a biological object through the contact member. Retainer mesh covers the contact member, has holes and is attached to the backing layer. Contact member is adapted to be in direct contact with the biological object through the openings of the mesh and is placed in the opening of the backing layer.
EFFECT: reliable electrical contact of the electrodes with the skin of the patient.
