FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices and methods for internal ear electrostimulation. A device comprises an implantable electrode carrier having an outer side whereon a contact block for surrounding nerve tissue electrostimulation is arranged, a divergent fluid tank of the diameter making at least a one-third portion of the diameter of the electrode carrier, provided in the electrode carrier for a fluid drug for a prolonged therapeutic period, and at least one fluid delivery port coupling said tank and the outer side of the electrode carrier for fluid drug delivery from said tank to said outer side. A method of fluid drug delivery to tissue surrounding the implantable device consists in using the implantable device.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows minimising the destruction of internal ear structures and providing higher quality of stimulation and efficacy of drug delivery.
