SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used to diagnose prostate cancer recurrence after exposure to HIFU therapy. Evaluation of the microcirculation state using laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) was performed. LDF is performed in the postoperative period after exposure to HIFU therapy. Analysis of the changes in blood flow is made by the graphical record and the microcirculation index (MI) is determined as the value of the average blood flow in the intervals of the registration time in perfusion units according to the claimed formula. If the MI value is higher than 5.5±0.2 perfusion units, the prostate cancer recurrence is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method allows to accurately diagnose prostate cancer recurrence after exposure to HIFU therapy due to LDF and the evaluation of the most significant indicators.
