FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing a paste for a thick film resistor. Powders of molybdenum, tantalum, magnesium and silicon are mixed, compressed into a bar and placed in a sealed reactor. Reactor is filled with an inert gas and brought the bar into contact with the glow wire. As a result, the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis begins to react in the bar and silicides of the used metals are formed. Resulting cake is ground into a fine powder. Silicide powder is mixed with barium-borate glass powder and with an organic binder. Mixture is thoroughly grated on the paste-grater. Resulting paste is used for the production of thick-film resistors characterized by increased resistance to current loading. In addition to powders of molybdenum, tantalum and magnesium, their oxides and aluminum powder are added to the charge. Reagents are taken in amounts that provide the formation of aluminum oxide and higher silicides of molybdenum, tantalum and magnesium.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the manufacturing time and energy savings in baking and grinding.
