FIELD: data processing; information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to defining tasks in messages and performing various response actions. In the method for determining tasks in messages, the natural language processing for the received message is performed to generate a note message. Define an indication of the object of interaction of the task in the message, classify the object as a person, location or organization, and determine the action of the task in the message. Analyze the message with notes according to the grammar and classify the message part as a record of the user task based on the analysis. User interface associated with the execution of the task record of the user is determined based on the object, the task action and the analysis, and cause the user interface to be started or opened automatically.
EFFECT: technical results are the provision of automatic classification of parts of messages as tasks without reducing the confidentiality of electronic means of communication, providing automatic determination of the user interface associated with the performance of the classified task, and reducing overall email traffic due to fewer repeated e-mail messages.
