FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling of electronic devices using a graphical user interface, in particular, to a method and system for activating an interface using a given type of user input. Such a result is achieved by creating a gesture activation pattern of an application, containing an input path using the angular regions of the screen.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of activating the graphical user interface with the help of a user input path from two different angular zones of the display and increasing the speed of access to the graphical interface.
