Method for forwarding search queries from an untrusted search engine to a trusted search engine that provides at least one trusted template with a unified resource locator (URL) and a set of untrusted URL patterns; receive a search request URL for the desired search engine, the search request URL corresponding to the search query; compare the search request URL with each of the plurality of untrusted URL patterns in order to find the desired search engine among the plurality of untrusted URL patterns; allow the desired search engine to generate search results on the search query URL if the desired search engine is not found among the set of untrusted URL patterns; and forward the search request to the trusted search engine according to the at least one trusted URL pattern if the desired search engine is found among a plurality of untrusted URL patterns.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the protection of data on statistics on the use of the search engine and the history of search queries from collection and storage.
