Method of determining search output on search query includes determining a document most relevant to a search query in response to receiving a search query. Method includes determining a parameter of probability that most relevant document will satisfy search query. Only most relevant document is displayed, if probability exceeds a threshold value. Common search engine result page (SERP) is displayed, which includes most relevant document and other documents, if probability is below threshold value. Results are ranked into ranked search results. Determination of most relevant document includes comparison of top result with other ranked search results, wherein comparison of top result includes comparison of top of ranked search results with subgroup of search results, following top result among ranked search results.

EFFECT: high accuracy (relevance for user) of search results and speed of search of information of interest by user.
