SUBSTANCE: invention relates to amide compounds of formula I and I′:
where: Y is CH or N; R1 is H or C1-C6 alkyl, where said C1-C6 alkyl is substituted with 0-6 halogens; R2 is H, halogen or C1-C6 alkyl, wherein said C1-C6 alkyl is substituted with 0-6 halogens; R3 is H, halogen or C1-C6 alkyl, wherein said C1-C6 alkyl is substituted with 0-6 halogens; R4 is H; R5 is H, halogen, or -X-RX; R5' is H; R6 is H or halogen; R6' is H or halogen; R7 is H, halogen or -X-RX; X is a bond or C1-C6 alkyl, where said C1-C6 alkyl is substituted with 0-6 halogens, where up to two non-adjacent CH2 links of the C1-C6 alkyl may be replaced by -O-; RX is absent or is H; p is 0; or to pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
EFFECT: invention is used as inhibitors of sodium channels for the treatment of various disorders, including pain.
