FIELD: ground construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connecting element for the arranged in a single line two C-shaped profiled rails connection. Connecting element (10) for the arranged in a single line two C-shaped profiled rails (12) connection is made in the form of sheet metal profile, which fitted to the profiled rails (12) to be connected cross section, is made so that the said sheet metal profile can be inserted inside the profiled rails (12) from their end faces in a tightening manner. At that, it is provided with the gripping tab (24), formed by casting or fastened on the connection element, which is accessible after insertion into the profiled rail (12).
EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of connecting element, which facilitates gripping during assembly of structures for the suspended ceilings.
