FIELD: biotechnology; agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and biotechnology and can be used in animal husbandry to produce a functional protein fodder additive. Method for producing the additive includes: preparing the nutrient medium by enzymatic hydrolysis and saccharification of the starch-containing raw material, followed by the addition of cobalt chloride and diammonium phosphate and adjusting the pH to 6.5; preparation of inoculum by sequential separate transfer of the strains of microorganisms included in the combined bacterial leaven into a small seed machine, and thence to a large seeding device, fermenting the prepared nutrient medium with a combined bacterial ferment; separation of the resulting culture liquid by deep centrifugation. Centrifugation is two sequential processes on two devices - a decanter and a cidecanter. Fugate is returned to production, and the separated solid precipitate is subjected to a two-stage low-temperature drying at a temperature of not more than 76 °C to obtain the finished product. In this case, the leaven used contains strains of propionic acid bacteria Propionibacterium freudenreichii subsp. freudenreichii RCAM04257 and lactobacilli Lactobacillus reuteri RCAM03194 and/or Lactobacillus salivarius RCAM03193.

EFFECT: use of invention will allow to obtain a product with good digestibility and long shelf life.
