FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for conducting adsorption processes in a gas (vapor) – adsorbent system. Adsorbent for the vertical adsorber contains a cylindrical body with a lid and a bottom. In the cover, a loading hatch is installed, a connection for supplying the original mixture with a distribution grid, a nozzle for evacuation of the vapors during desorption, and a connection for the safety valve. A ring of rigidity is provided at the junction of the cover and the body. In the middle of the hull on the supporting ring there are beams with supports supporting the grate, where a layer of gravel is laid. Layer of adsorbent is arranged between gravel layer and screen whereon weights are arranged to prevent adsorbent loss in desorption. Waste adsorbent is discharged through a discharge hatch installed in the housing. Bubbler is mounted in bottom as well as inspection port with union to discharge condensate and to feed water. Bubbler is made of toroidal form and fixed on the conical surface of the bottom by means of spacers. According to the variants, the adsorbent is formed in the form of a cylindrical ring with two hemispherical surfaces opposite each other in such a way that the diametral planes of the hemispheres coincide respectively with the upper and lower bases of the cylindrical ring. Tops of the semi-spherical surfaces lie on the axis of the ring and are directed towards each other. Packing element is made with perforation on side surface, and semi-spherical surfaces. Between the peaks of semi-spherical surfaces of packing element there is a perforated surface of the n order, for example, spherical, elliptic, hyperbolic. Adsorbent is made in the form of hemispherical surfaces, inside of which there are at least two hemispherical surfaces concentric and with a gap. Adsorbent is made in the form of a hollow spherical shape, on the outer surface of which there are additional elements in the form of spherical, conical surfaces, or any surface of bodies of revolution, for example a paraboloid, an ellipsoid. Inner spherical surface of nozzle is connected to external one by means of at least three channels.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the degree of purification of the gas stream from the target component and dust by increasing the contact area of the adsorbent with the target component.
