SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process for the preparation of block copolymers of a conjugated diene and a vinyl aromatic compound. Method for obtaining conjugated diene block copolymers is described and a vinyl aromatic compound by continuous polymerization of a conjugated diene in a hydrocarbon solvent under the action of an anionic initiator modified with alcoholates of alkali and alkaline earth metals, in the first reaction zone and subsequent interaction of the reaction mixture with the vinyl aromatic compound in the second reaction zone, characterized in that the reaction mass from the first reaction zone and vinyl aromatic compound, before being fed to the second reaction zone, passes through a mixer with a stirring speed of 500–1,000 rpm.

EFFECT: obtaining a block copolymer with a high content of styrenic units in the block, a low content of gel fraction and a multi-day gelless "run" of the installation in a continuous mode.
