FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of rubber for manufacturing tires, mechanical rubber articles, and for modifying bitumens. Corresponding monomers are (co)polymerized in hydrocarbon solvent at 20-50 C in presence of dimethyl(or diethyl)amine/alkyllithium (molar ratio from 1: 1 to 1.5:1) interaction product forming initiator in polymerization medium, solvent- to-monomer(s) ratio ranging from 5.5:1 to 8.2: 1 and amount of alkyllithium ranging from 3.19 x 10-6 to 2.63 x 10-5 mole per 1 g monomer(s), after which temperature is raised to 55-90 C and reaction is continued until monomer(s) is (are) exhausted. Optionally, polymerization medium is supplemented by methyl tert-butyl ether at molar ratio (0.5-3.0):1 to alkyllithium or (co)polymer solution is supplemented by tetraethoxysilane at molar ratio (0.25-1.0):1 to alkyllithium or lithium ethylenediamide at molar ratio (0.5-1.0:1) to tetraethoxysilane.
