FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of error compensation from the angular acceleration of the base for a Coriolis vibration gyroscope with a continuous retrieval of navigational data comprises of the following steps: for continuous retrieval of navigational information, the vibrating shell of the resonator along the nodal oscillation lines and with the help of torsion bars is fixed to the base on which the excitation devices of the resonator are mounted, which interact with the resonator, and detecting means continuously interacting with the torsion bars for detecting axial torque of the inertial forces, acting on the resonator, and applying forces through the torsion bars of the compensating force torque opposite to the torque of the inertial forces acting on the resonator, and to compensate for the error from the angular acceleration of the base coaxially (in parallel) with the resonator of the Coriolis vibration gyroscope, a specific base rotation angular accelerometer is placed. Its inertial mass is made in the form of an exact copy of the resonator shell and is fixed by the same way as the resonator with torsion bars to the base on which the detecting means, interacting with the torsion bars of the specific angular accelerometer, are installed.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of angular velocity measurements.
