FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to the design of the sensitive element (hereinafter referred to as the resonator) of solid-state wave gyroscopes with a metal resonator (hemispherical resonator gyro, HRG). The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the cone angle of the working part of the resonator is 6.45°-6.7°, while the suspension is cylindrical, the ratio of the wall thickness of the working part from the end-edge side H and the wall thickness of the suspension h is 2.3- 2.6, and the ratio of the length of the working part of the resonator L and the length of the suspension l is 1.8-2.2.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of the resonator by increasing its mechanical quality factor.
