FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument engineering and is intended for measuring static or slowly varying torque. Inventive torque meter for static measurements comprises a body in which a shaft with a torque converter into the angle of rotation is placed and functionally connected to it comprising modulator optical transducer of the angle of rotation in an electrical signal is placed, characterized in that each shaft bearing is in the form of two flat springs arranged at an angle of 90° to each other, forming a torque converter in the angle of rotation, and the first ends of the flat springs fixed to the shaft, and the second – to the body.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the accuracy of the torque measurement, particularly by eliminating the stagnation zone of the torque converter in the angle of rotation.
