FIELD: physics, measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement technology and can be used to measure torsional vibrations of shafts. The torsional vibration sensor comprises a sensitive element with a magnetoelectric transducer, mounted in a housing on an elastic hinge, wherein the sensitive element is made in form of an inertial body mounted on a shaft, having square drives, as part of a magnetically conducting plate, at one end of which is mounted an L-shaped magnetic conductor, and on the other - a counterweight, wherein at like ends of the magnetically conducting plate and the L-shaped magnetic conductor there are oppositely installed two pairs of permanent magnets with axially oriented magnetisation with formation of two magnet gaps with differently directed magnetic induction vectors, the transducer is formed by permanent magnets of the inertial body and a flat O-shaped double-helical electric coil, two sections of which are straight and radially arranged with respect to the shaft of the inertial body.
EFFECT: torsional vibration sensor with high measurement accuracy.
