FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydro acoustics, namely, to the marine underwater object noise emission registration method. According to the invention, the method of detecting noise emission of a marine underwater object comprises firstly recording, in a receiving device, an amplitude-frequency characteristic (AFC) of the water field noise field, then it is used for further processing in the signal primary processing unit. Further, during recording of the marine underwater object in the water space in the area of the receiving device location, the frequency response of the noise mixture of the marine underwater object and the interference of the noise field of the water space (AFC mixture) are generated, after AFC of mixture is supplied to input of primary signal processing unit and used for further processing. Principal difference from prototype is that amplitude-frequency characteristic of noise field of water space is supplied to input of temporary buffer and then to reference input of in-series connected to it adaptive filter of additionally introduced unit of adaptive-temporal processing. Thereafter, AFC of mixture is supplied to input of temporary buffer and further to main input of adaptive filter of adaptive-time processing unit, then, the AFC of the marine underwater object is transmitted through an amplitude detector to a recording device, where the AFC of the marine underwater object is recorded.

EFFECT: technical result is a method of detecting noise emission of a marine underwater object in a wide frequency band in conditions of high level and non-stationarity of background noise (disturbance) within the time of detecting passage of a marine underwater object.
